How can I find out if my company has received an MSME certificate?

It is impossible to tell whether the certificate was generated against UDAYM or not because the government portal does not disclose the process. It will soon be accessible, the government said.

To confirm that the certificate was generated against the UDYAM, applicants must first register as UDYAMs. They only need to visit our website, complete the form accurately, and one of our representatives will handle the rest. Once the facility is enabled, they can enter their unique acknowledgment number provided by the government to check their certificate of enterprise.

UDYAM registration certificate:

The Udyam Registration Certificate is the recognition certificate issued by MSME and is the most recent method developed by the Ministry of MSME for registering your business as an MSME. The method was introduced to facilitate professional development on a national and worldwide scale. On June 26, 2021, the Indian government made the announcement, and on July 1, 2021, it became operative.

Apply to Register for Udyam

A new way to register a business under the MSME Act is through online Udyam registration. On June 26, 2021, the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises made a statement. Currently known as Udyam Registration, it was formerly known as MSME Registration. It became operative on July 1st, 2021.

The Udyam Registration should be updated on or before March 31st of each year. If not, your registration will be terminated or prohibited. Existing registrations will be valid until March 31, 2025.

This can be completed online using the Udyam Registration portal.

Getting a digital Life certificate is hassle free and can be obtained
through various Jeevan Pramaan Centres which are being operated by
CSCs, Banks, Government offices or by using the client application.

Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric enabled digital service for pensioners. Pensioners of Central Government, State Government or any other Government organization can take benefit of this facility.

One of the major requisite for the pensioners post their retirement from service, is to provide life certificates to the authorized pension disbursing agencies like Banks, Post offices etc., following which their pension is credited to their account. In order to get this life certificate the individual drawing the pension is required to either personally present oneself before the Pension Disbursing Agency or have the Life Certificate issued by authority where they have served earlier and have it delivered to the disbursing agency.

Benefits of e-Shram card: 

The e-Shram portal was launched in August 2021 by the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The portal's purpose is to develop a National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW) and track the progress of workers in the unorganized sector.

·         A pension of Rs.3000 per month after reaching the age of 60 years.

·         A death insurance of Rs.2,00,000 and financial aid of Rs.1,00,000 if the worker is partially handicapped.

·         If the beneficiary of the e-shram card dies, the benefits are given to his/her spouse.

·         The beneficiaries will also receive a 12-digit UAN number, which is valid throughout India.

What is the eligibility criterial for e-Shram:

1.       Any person working in the unorganized sector is eligible for an e-shram card.

2.       The worker should be 16-59 years old.

3.       The workers should have their mobile number linked with the Aadhaar card.
